In The Accident, rookie criminal Adam makes his first drug run with two strangers—college connection Deacon and psychotic muscle Shotgun. But what begins as a simmering class and personality conflict, boils over when their car goes off the road and the gloves come off.
An enraged Shotgun beats Deacon to death while Adam stands by, as night approaches, a snowstorm blows in, and the chance of finding help grows slim. Shotgun presents Adam with a choice: help him cover up the crime, or join Deacon in the snow. Adam is alone in the freezing woods with a cooling corpse, a loaded gun, an unstable ally and an impossible dilemma. Sometimes your choice of companions is a choice between life and death.
